Songbird Essentials Lonestar Purple Martin Goliad House with Starling Resistant Crescent shaped Doors. This unique style 12 Room house offers directional facing rooms which help reduce male domination behavior in the species. Houses are made of heavy gauge, white, heat reflective riveted .040 gauge white aluminum (about 60 percent heavier than your other Purple Martin houses), and the attics are fully insulated with 3/4th inch Styrofoam for additional protection. Rooms are designed to prevent owls and hawks from reaching the nest with large 6 inch x 6 inch x 12 inch rooms. The Goliad is modular so additional floors can be added as your colony grows. The Starling Resistant Crescent shaped doors do not include door plugs. Add a matching pole to complete this system. Heavy duty 2 inch square zinc electroplated 16.5 foot pole is designed to fit through your Lone Star house and comes with a ground socket, winch and steel cable.
